Instead, he only has shares in his company. In recent years, he’s been promoting efforts to promote the use of BTC.

Mexican billionaire Ricardo Salinas allocates most of his portfolio to Bitcoin
It is impossible to deny that the market for cryptocurrency has experienced a revolution in the past 14 months. Since the election of Donald Trump as President, crypto has been embraced by Americans like never before. The US is trying to revamp its digital assets policy by establishing a crypto taskforce. The move has also helped Bitcoin hit a six figure price at the end of last year.
It has strengthened the crypto community’s position. Mexican billionaire Ricardo Salinas has recently revealed to Bloomberg that 70% of his investment portfolio is Bitcoin. This ensures that his commitments are in BTC and himself as well as gold.

“I’ve got about 70% in Bitcoin-related exposure and 30% in gold and gold miners,” Salinas said. “I don’t have a single bond, and I don’t have any other stocks except my own.” His allocations have only grown over the past few years. In 2020, the cryptocurrency he held 10% of, was far less than his current allocation.
Salinas worked hard to have his bank be the first one in Mexico that accepted Bitcoin. Conversley it will be intriguing to see if Salinas, who has a net-worth of $5.8 Billion, is the beginning of a trend. BTC’s price has dropped this year but the growth potential is huge.
