According to Santiment’s latest data, the layer-1 blockchain Hedera has taken top position in recent activity for crypto’s Real-World Asset (RWA).
Santiment sharing The RWA’s most recent development rankings are based on GitHub’s notable activity in the past thirty days. Hedera came out on top, beating other large projects within the industry.
“Here are crypto’s top Real World Assets (RWA’s) by development. Directional indicators represent each project’s ranking rise or fall since last month:”
Chainlink, a blockchain oracle (LINK), was ranked second. Avalanche, ETH’s layer-1 competitor (AVAX), and the payments-focused Stellar (XLM), rounded out the top four. IOTA (IOTA), a cryptocurrency, climbed up to fifth place. Chia slipped from sixth. VeChain, Lumerin, and Creditcoin all rose in the ranking, coming seventh, eighth and ninth respectively. Injective, which dropped one place in the rankings to round out the top 10, rounded up this list.
The crypto-analytics firm points out that their development rankings do not include routine updates, but instead rely upon a proprietary algorithm designed to emphasize meaningful GitHub activities. Previously, the firm said that consistent activity in development can indicate that a project is actively developing and that it’s less likely to get abandoned.
