Dankrad Feist is a well-known researcher from the Ethereum Foundation. He joins Tempo, which is a Layer-1 Blockchain backed by Stripe and Paradigm.

Feist is one the leading developers and researchers in the Ethereum Foundation, a nonprofit that aims to support the development of Ethereum’s blockchain. He joined the organization as a researcher in 2018. On Friday, October 17, the developer made his announcement to join Tempo.

The co-creator Danksharding stated in a blog post at X that his aim is to help the crypto payment industry gain traction. Tempo is a stablecoin-focused service that was launched by Stripe in 2025.

Feist will continue to serve as advisor at Ethereum Foundation

Feist has worked as a full time researcher for the EF since 2019. She has taken part in the journey which has led to the EF becoming a significant player within the Ethereum ecosystem.ETH) ecosystem.

He was also instrumental in the development of PeerDAS – a milestone for scaling that will be implemented with the next version. Fusaka upgrade.

“I have dedicated the past several years to architecting and scaling blockchains, and I’m excited to leverage my learnings together with the very strong team being assembled at Tempo,” He added.

Feist said that he would continue as a Research Advisor at the EF. He will dedicate all his energy to growing Tempo. He will be a champion of L1 scaling and blobs as he continues to work on the EF strategy and roadmap. The Protocol Cluster will be the vehicle for his contribution.

Feist, a former colleague of Drake’s at the EF and Justin Drake made headlines when they joined EigenLayer in 2024 as advisors. They were criticized for a perceived conflict of interests. Feist and Drake both left their new roles at the platform after the controversy.
