Dogecoin Co Founder’s statement
Billy Markus was eager to get in on the action. Markus is also known as Shibetoshi Nakamoto and was one of the first members in the crypto community. Markus, along with Jackson Palmer and the Bitcoin code, launched Dogecoin together in 2013. After the outrage caused by HBO the DOGE founder revealed that he believed Satoshi was the original creator.
Markus’s Statement On Peter Todd
Markus took Peter Todd is not Bitcoin, X says. He noted that Todd was one of the “OG core devs but not the creator.” When asked about the man behind Bitcoin, Dogecoin’s founder gave a completely new response. Markus said without hesitation: “Hal Finney and friends.”
Hal Finney’s Part
Hal Finney is known as the software developer who was credited for making the first Bitcoin transactions from Satoshi’s wallet. Finney died tragically in 2014 due to ALS. Unfortunately, it is not possible to confirm this.

Prices Surge
Bitcoin soared earlier today to an all-time high of $63,082. The news did not seem to have a major impact on Bitcoin, which didn’t see a huge spike. BTC’s price was $62,148.9 at the time of publication, after it had fallen by 0.75% in the previous 24 hours. A recent drop in the price of BTC has pushed up its gains for this month to 12.
