This week, spot Bitcoin ETFs began on a good note. Meanwhile, spot Ether ETFS continued to have negative trade flows for the third day in a row.
Data SoSoValue data shows that 12 Bitcoin spot exchange-traded fund in the U.S. registered $61.98 inflows for the 19th of August, representing an increase of 72% compared to net inflows from $36.01 million On the same day
BlackRockIBIT from ranked first with a modest $92.7m, which brings the total amount of inflows for this fund to 20.48bn since its launch. Fidelity FBTC came in second with modest $3.9 million. This fund was the only one to see a second straight day of inflows.
Bitwise’s BITB (Invesco Galaxy) and Invesco BTCO’s (Bitwise) recorded respective net outflows in the amount of $25.7 and $8.8 millions, which offset a part of their gains on August 19. Grayscale GBTC had no transactions on Aug. 19, the first such day since it was launched. Since its launch, the investment has seen continuous outflows totaling nearly $19.64 billion.
As the crypto market was anticipating a correction, all seven remaining Bitcoin ETFs remained in neutral. Inflows into spot BTC ETFs now exceed $17,4 billion.
Crypto.news data shows the crypto market cap has risen by 2,4% over the last 24 hours to $2,24 trillion. Trading volume has also risen, with a total of $79.5bn in 24 hours. Bitcoin (BTCThe price of a share () has increased by 4.2% in the last 24 hours and is currently trading at $60.937.
Ether ETFs experience $13.5m outflow
Nine Ethereum ETFs, collectively, saw their value drop by over 50%. $13.52 million In outflows, August 19 marks the third consecutive Trading day of Outflows
Grayscale ETHE was the leading outflow, with its ongoing outflows amounting to $20.3 millions, which has led to a cumulative outflow of over $2.43 Billion dollars since its launch. Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust, Bitwise’s ETHW and Bitwise Bitcoin Mini Trust were the two offerings that saw modest inflows on the same day of $4.9 and $1.9 millions. There was no movement on any of the remaining Ethereum ETFs.
The trading volume of Ether ETFs fell to $124 Million, a significant drop from the $185 Million seen on the previous day. To date, these funds have seen a net withdrawal of $433.62million. Ethereum (as of the press date) was able to be purchased.ETH( ) rose by 2.3% and traded at $2673.
