Cardano’s (ADA) struggle to sustain bullish momentum

Cardano was able to breach the $0.90 resistance level, but ADA lacked the momentum needed to move above it. Cardano has seen its volume fall for much of August. Analysts warn, however, that despite the slight increase in demand in September, it’s not enough to move Cardano closer to $1.

Cardano whales have sold 140 million ADA in the last two weeks to generate profits. Following this massive liquidation, the total holdings of whales have shrunk to only 5.46 billion ADA – or less than 15% of Cardano’s circulating supply. 

Cardano’s netflow of exchange has been predominantly negative over the past few months. This indicates that Cardano is losing money more than it is gaining. 

The real story behind adoption metrics

Although XRP is still in the game for traders, their short-term movements are influenced by resistance zones. The whale behavior, as well as the broader sentiment of the market are not on their side. This will lead to volatility throughout Q4 and into 2019.
