Token Terminal data shows that Uniswap’s fees have been more than double those of any other decentralized (DEX) exchanges in the last thirty days.
Uniswap DAO is the top DEX in terms of fees, with nearly $100 Million generated over the past month. On-chain data shows that Uniswap DAO registered more fees than all four other decentralized exchanges in the same period.
Uniswap’s 30-day fee is higher than DEXs.
Uniswap DAO accounted more for generated fees as of June 18 than PancakeSwap Labs, Uniswap Labs, and GMX together. PancakeSwap is on pace to reach $20 million this month, but the other two will be far behind.
Token Terminal considers Uniswap Labs a separate company when it comes Uniswap. This is mainly due to Uniswap Labs monetizing via the fees that are charged to Uniswap Users. Fees are charged for users who access the DEX protocol via Uniswap Labs frontend software.
Uniswap Labs has raised the fees it charges users to access DEX using its UI. The fee was increased from $0.15 per transaction to $0.25 in April. After receiving a Wells Notice by the US Securities and Exchange Commission, the move was made.
Ethereum is the most expensive blockchain
Token Terminal: Latest data shows Ethereum, Tron (the top blockchain platform) and Bitcoin are the three most popular blockchain-based dApps in terms of fees.
Ethereum is the most popular platform for fee-generating apps (both L1s and L2s). Ethereum has nearly $180 compared to Tron’s $130 and Bitcoin’s $105 with Bitcoin.
“In the past 30 days, Ethereum generated the most Fees (~$180M). It’s worth highlighting that Base, despite the relatively low average transaction fee of ~$0.03 (compared to ~$4.5 on the Ethereum L1), still places among the top 20 because of the surge in user activity on the L2,” Token Terminal wrote On X.
Aerodrome, a base-native DEX that is native to the Base blockchain platform, generates about twice as much revenue than its Layer-2 Blockchain.
