In just one minute, developers can connect a Solana wallet with AI tools such as Claude Code and Gemini to have an agent gain access to paid APIs.
The Solana Foundation and Google Cloud have partnered to launch Pay.sh. It is a platform which allows AI agents using Solana stablecoins to access API services.
They built the service as a way to address a problem that is common in software development. Even advanced AI systems require human interaction to manage credentials and create accounts.
Solana AI Agent-Driven payment layer
A May 5, 2015 announcement by the company revealed Pay.sh introduces AI agents are able to independently find, pay, and access APIs on an as-needed basis, without the need for accounts, subscriptions, or keys.
Vibhu Noby is the chief product officer of the Solana Foundation. said The product was developed in part to deal with unregulated machine payment issues. Through the collaboration, the aim is to legitimize an agent-driven economic growth through a compliance solution.
“Most agentic payments are being done through gray or black market facilitation, which means they can be disabled or banned without notice by the underlying provider,” He has written.
The Solana Foundation explained the platform’s function as an API proxy, built on Google Cloud Infrastructure. It handles payments and still applies proper security controls such as rate limits and permissions.
Pay.sh links a Solana wallet with popular AI tools such as Gemini, Claude Code and Codex. This allows users to fund the AI tool in just 60 seconds, using either stablecoins (or a credit card). After this, agents can begin to access paid Google Cloud APIs like BigQuery and Vertex AI.
The gateway service converts stablecoins into fiat currency to be used by service providers. It also allows developers to only pay for the services they actually use. Providers can then receive their funds without needing to worry about subscriptions and billing systems.

Platform also brings services from various agent providers together into one searchable catalog within the Solana eco-system.
PayAI, Crossmint Merit Systems Moonpay Sponge Wallet ATXP and Tektonic are among the launch partners that support this platform.
Coinbase and other major cryptocurrency companies are racing to develop payment systems for AI-based autonomous systems. revealing The x402 store is an app marketplace for bots that standardizes micropayments.
