SharpLink has also stepped up capital management by purchasing more than 2,13 million SBET shares at an average of $4.69 each.
Since August 2025, the company has bought over 4,07 million shares. SBET stock was trading below $4.72 per share at the time this article was written, nearly 4% lower on the day.
The company has also been able to raise its profile through recent corporate events. SharpLink announced earlier this week that it had acquired the company. joined The Russell 2000 and Russell 3000 Indexes will extend its presence on major U.S. equity market benchmarks. Ethereum reserves will continue to grow.
SharpLink has not been the only publicly listed company to expand its exposure in Ethereum. Crypto.news reported Bitmine, the Ethereum Treasury firm, purchased an additional 27,084 Ethereum during the last week. This brings its total holdings up to over 5.7 millions ETH.
According to Bitmine’s numbers, these reserves account for approximately 4.7% of Ethereum’s estimated circulating stock of 120.7 millions ETH. This brings Bitmine closer towards its stated goal of holding 5%.
In the beginning of this month, we also featured crypto.news examined What are the consequences of treasury firms accumulating larger and larger portions of Ethereum? According to the report, sustained purchases could lower the available amount of ETH for trading. Concentrated ownership, however, may increase risks if firms later have to raise funds through debt, equity issuance or asset sales in weaker market conditions.
Ethereum still faces pressure despite corporate purchasing
Ethereum continues to grow in popularity as Treasury companies add more and more of it.ETH( has been struggling to gain upward momentum. At the moment of this writing, ETH was trading near $1.560. It is down roughly 25% on the quarter and 1% the previous day.

If the current market conditions continue, Ethereum will also record its third consecutive quarterly loss. This would be a first in the history of the asset.
Analysts still view the recent decline as more of a test than an actual breakdown. Ted Pillows is a crypto analyst who believes Ethereum may stage a rally of relief next month, if it can hold the $1,500 support.
In addition, the chart of an analyst also highlighted the risk that this level would fail. Ted Pillows, in this scenario, said Ethereum may fall to $1,400, or even lower. This highlights that the price direction for the next few weeks will depend on whether the buyers defend the current support area despite the ongoing accumulation of treasury companies.
