Ripple labs will employ an independent auditing company to produce attestations for RLUSD Reserve Assets and then publicly publish these monthly. In addition, Ripple Labs will also add two former central banks to its advisory stablecoin board in order to aid with the implementation process.
Additional listings will appear on Bitso and Bullish as well as Bitstamp and Independent Reserve. Zero Hash is also expected to be added in the next weeks. Ripple wants to grab a share of the stablecoins market, which is rapidly expanding. The market currently is dominated Tether’s USDT tokens worth $140 billion and Circle’s USDC tokens worth $40 billion. The current momentum surrounding Ripple labs could propel RLUSD into the stratosphere, making it a contender for the stablecoin industry.
Ripple’s native XRP crypto currency has also risen following the release of RLUSD. As of press time, XRP had risen 2% over the past 24 hours. It is expected to rise further in this week.
