An unknown offshore entity purchased a position of $436,000,000 in BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF. According to a Form 13F-HR filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)Laurore Ltd, a company that is not well-known in the industry, has revealed ownership of 8 786 279 IBIT stock.
Laurore Ltd’s filing is mysterious because it is the only holding reported by the company. BlackRock Bitcoin ETF is the only holding of Laurore Ltd that exceeds $400 million. This makes this a very concentrated investment. Laurore Ltd’s other details show the company is registered in British Virgin Islands, but has a Hong Kong address listed in Central district towers.
The company has no website, no previous investment disclosures, and no information about their past investments. BlackRock Bitcoin ETF also has no operational history. The Central Index Key, 0002082507, shows only one entry in 13F with no further details. This development casts doubts on where funds and the origins are coming from.

BlackRock Bitcoin ETF offshore holders have exclusive investment control, and they also hold the sole vote authority for all IBITs. No other managers or authorities are involved in holdings. It is not possible to have a diversified basket of financial assets, and there’s only one IBIT that has a very concentrated position.
Laurore Ltd could be an anonymous group or individual. It is unclear what the background of this entity looks like, as there has been little or no disclosure about its financial activities. BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF has around 1,690 investors as of 2026. IBIT has approximately 384,000,000 shares in its assets under management. Laurore Ltd’s investment is still a mystery. While the global financial companies are well-known and publicized, Laurore Ltd remains unknown.
