A SEC document shows that global investment management company Millennium Management purchased Bitcoin spot ETFs. Millennium Management announced its Bitcoin ETF investments on Wednesday. The holdings represent about 3% (of its $64 billion fund) as of the 1st quarter.
This is the latest SEC filing Millenium holds Bitcoin ETFs at BlackRock (along with ARK21), Bitwise, Fidelity & Grayscale, as well as Fidelity & Grayscale. Millenium Management owns over $844M of ETF shares with BlackRock. BlackRock is by far the largest. Millenium Management is not far behind in terms of the total Fidelity Bitcoin ETF, as it has invested north of $844M. In recent months, several more banks and companies have invested in Bitcoin spot ETFs. This includes institutions such as Hightower. JPMorgan Chase.
Throughout 2024, Spot Bitcoin ETFs have become a massive part of the dialogue within the finance sector. In fact, in January the first approvals were given for these investment products. Their success has only increased their prominence since.
Millenium Management has announced its Bitcoin ETF investments at a time when BTC is on an upward trend, with a rise of 7% in 24 hours. As an asset, the asset has become more and more popular with investment firms as they look to offer their clients a unique asset. The trend is not slowing.
