NFT Showcase Canceled by Judicial Decree
The saga took a fresh twist when Judge Jed S. Rakoff of the U.S. District Court issued a definitive ruling with a permanent injunction, effectively halting Rothschild’s alleged trademark transgressions regarding Hermès.
Rakoff extended the prohibition more recently by prohibiting MetaBirkins’ assets to be exhibited in Stockholm Spirit Museum. This decision was made after Rothschild requested legal clarification regarding exhibiting in spite of the previous court ruling.

Rothschild has appealed the previous year’s ruling in New York’s Second Circuit Court.
