Ethereum Price to $5,000
During ETH’s initial rally, in July, it climbed up to almost $4,900. This fueled widespread calls for a move towards the $5,000 mark. The momentum was lost as the profit-taking began, and it retraced below $4,000 by September. Since then, ETH is trying to rebuild its strength. Ethereum’s recent recovery is being supported by an improvement in technical signals. On the daily chart, ETH has broken out of its short-term descending channel and appears to be forming a new ascending structure, similar to its setup during the July rally. Now, the price is trading near or above $4,330 (the 30-day moving average). This has become a support level for short term.
The fact that the buyers have maintained this position indicates that they are taking control. The relative strength index (RSI) has also rebounded toward the midline at 44–50, indicating that selling pressure is easing while room for further upside remains.
The immediate resistance is $4,700. This was the level that ETH regained this week. The next target is $5,000. A close decisively above this level could lead to the new ascending channel. On the downside, $4,100–$4,200 forms the first key support zone. The bullish pattern would be maintained if ETH held above this price range. However, a break below it could see ETH retesting the $3.800 area.
