Charles Hoskinson is the founder of Input Output and Cardano. He received a Swiss award for his contribution to Ethereum Foundation’s creation Crypto Valley.

“It’s an incredible honor to be recognized at ETH10X alongside my fellow Ethereum founders. Crypto Valley has been a cornerstone for the global blockchain industry, and I am proud to have played a part in its origins,” Hoskinson said upon receiving the Award.
Hoskinson is no more a part the Ethereum Foundation but he has shown his commitment in advancing the blockchain technology. In 2015, Jeremy Wood and Hoskinson created Input Output which is now one of the leading companies for research on blockchain infrastructure.
“Our mission has always been to push the boundaries of decentralization, and with projects like Cardano and Midnight, we are leading the way in building more secure, inclusive, and scalable financial systems that can empower people around the world,” Hoskinson, said
Input Output is best known for its Cardano project, a blockchain platform of third generation that supports the ADA crypto currency. Input Output has begun preparing its Fourth-Generation Blockchain Platform, Midnight.
Input Output states that Midnight’s users will be able to selectively disclose confidential or public information, as well as address critical issues, such privacy, identity and interoperability.
Input Output, in addition to Cardano and Midnight launched on September 1, the Chang hard-fork. This project marked the birth of Voltaire by Cardano through the implementation CIP-1694.
