A major point of contention was that the integration of Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin Cardano’s ecosystem. Stablecoins can be used to integrate traditional financial systems with the blockchain. Hoskinson said that the integration of RLUSD into Cardano Midnight could improve financial stability as well as increase adoption.
Hoskinson compared Cardano recently to Bitcoin and XRP. According to him, all three projects are capable of long-term success despite many obstacles they face. Hoskinson compared Cardano to XRP, Bitcoin, and Bitcoin Cash, noting that each of these projects is quite stable.
Bitcoin was the winner, as he pointed out. market fluctuations challenges, XRP and XRP both had to contend with regulatory issues and legal problems. Hoskinson says that these obstacles have only helped both networks. They are the two biggest players on the blockchain.
Cardano is not without its problems either. A recent disagreement between IOHK Foundation Cardano is an example of the power struggles that are expected with a decentralized system. Hoskinson says that these conflicts will always exist and can be a good thing, as they help the participants to discuss issues more effectively and to work together.
