Apex Fusion, which provides blockchain services, will launch Vector, the first high-performance Cardano Blockchain designed specifically for institutions entering Web3.

Vector is a blockchain testnet based on UTxO that has been peer reviewed. It boasts a high throughput with instantaneous transactional finality. Apex Fusion, in a Cointelegraph-shared statement, said that the launch will take place at Saturday’s Rare Evo Conference.

The first Cardano blockchain with independently verified instantaneous payments. finalityAccording to the announcement, this is an assurance that the transaction will not be reversed.

Vector’s transaction processing is 10x faster than Cardano’s mainnet. 99% of transactions reach finality in 13 seconds while only 98.6% reached an immediate conclusion under “performance-optimized conditions,” According to an independent study by Cardano director Duncan Coutts, Well Typed architect Duncan Coutts, and Predictable Network Solutions founders Neil Davies and Peter Thompson.

Rare Evo, along with Rare Evo’s launch, will unveil the report that was commissioned jointly by Apex Fusion Foundation and the Apex Fusion Foundation.

“Vector shows how the UTxO model can evolve to meet institutional demands without compromising its foundational strength,” Coutts, said

Long transaction completion times have been an issue for a while, limiting the usefulness of financial applications built on Blockchain.

New instant-finality network introduced “major advantages” Anja Blaj-Zajc, the head of legal for Apex Fusion, said that blockchain technology and financial institutions are both important,

“For blockchains, it reduces the risk of chain reorganizations and double-spending, enhancing security and reliability,” Zajc said to Cointelegraph:

“For financial institutions, instant finality enables real-time settlement, lowers operational risk, and improves compliance by providing clear and immediate confirmation of transactions.”

Instant Finality can lead to quicker payments, efficient transactions across borders and the development “more complex financial products onchain,” She added.

Sonic (previously Fantom), a 720 millisecond transaction Cointelegraph, in its September 2024 report, reported that a Testnet would be finalized.

Andre Cronje is the founder of Fantom Network, and chief technology officer for Sonic Labs. He says that while testnet environments are a great way to boost a blockchain’s performance, Sonic has the fastest Ethereum Virtual Machine blockchain in the world.

Apex Fusion Foundation strives to achieve MiCA compliance

The Apex Fusion Foundation has stated that it will work to become fully compliant with Europe’s Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulations (MiCA) in order to better serve institution needs such as stablecoins issuance.

“Apex is fully aligned with Swiss regulatory requirements and has obtained a FINMA ruling confirming the classification of the AP3X token,” Zajc said to Cointelegraph:

“In parallel, the foundation is preparing to notify the relevant national competent authority within the EU, with the objective of achieving full compliance under the MiCA regulation.”

MiCA is the World’s first comprehensive regulatory cryptocurrency framework that went into full force for crypto asset providers on 30th December 2024. This is aimed at boosting investor protection and preventing fraud.
