“It appears that LuBian was using an algorithm to generate its private keys that was susceptible to brute-force attacks. This may have been the vulnerability exploited by the hackers.”

Bitcoin was stolen in the past, but it is worth $14.5billion at the current price. This attack highlights that users of cryptography should practice safety and manage their private keys, using only random number generation software.
